Stress seems to be the buzzword of the New Millennium. We are all suffering from an overload of it. What is becoming more and more obvious, is that there are physical as well as emotional symptoms that result from an overload of stress.

Many clients who have symptoms such as those above are being treated medically, but are still symptomatic. In these cases it is often their personality type (ex. Type A's), their psychological defenses, and their lifestyle that is perpetuating their illness. Sometimes a fear or resistance to medical intervention must be explored.

But there are effective ways to reduce suffering. Along with a clear assessment of the problem, I employ a variety of proven stress reducing strategies and often teach Meditation practice as an integral part of successful symptom reduction.
